Another great CENGN project is in the books! Over the past month, our team was busy helping InfoSec Global (ISG) test and validate their Agilesec VPN solution. This is an innovative security solution that aims to modernize network security and address the ever-increasing concerns of privacy and data protection in the ICT sector. Let’s take a closer look at the Canadian company ISG and why they are excited about their Agilesec solution.
ISG is a cybersecurity company that is leading innovation in network security with their cryptographic agility technologies. ISG offers a wide set of products and network security appliances based on their Agilesec platform to help public and private enterprises protect their networks. CENGN’s project with ISG sought to test the performance of the company’s Agilesec VPN solution in CENGN’s Cloud Infrastructure. This innovative product allows its customers to protect their networks with custom cryptographic algorithms, along with the strongest internationally standardized cryptography. Agilesec is a solution that many organizations can benefit from as networks become more complex and exchange increasingly sensitive and vulnerable data.
As the ICT sector continues to grow and evolve, it is crucial that network security continues to improve alongside of it. ISG’s Agilesec platform is the only enterprise multi-cryptography suite that homogenously applies, manages, and controls usage of cryptography across a large-scale digital footprint. Not to mention, ISG has made it possible to virtualize their Agilesec VPN hardware appliance so it can run on any cloud network as a virtualized software solution!
To test the scalability of their product, ISG’s security solution was applied to CENGN’s Cloud. The Agilesec VPN appliance was validated on both a Full Mesh and Hub & Spoke VPN Network, providing ISG with performance testing results that they can showcase to potential customers.
This Proof-of-Concept (PoC) project enabled ISG to validate their unique solution in a real-world cloud platform, while also allowing them to demonstrate the performance of their Agilesec provider. Infosec is one of many extremely talented companies that have conducted a CENGN project showcasing a solution that promises to push their sector forward. In fact, CENGN accepts small and medium enterprise (SME) projects from a broad range of NGN areas, that go beyond cybersecurity!
As a consortium of our members and partners, we believe it’s our job at CENGN to support Canadian SMEs looking to rapidly commercialize their products and solutions. We’re so happy that ISG was able to leverage CENGN’s services to test their Agilesec VPN solution. On behalf of CENGN, we hope that ISG continues to be a leader in next-gen network security and develop ground-breaking technology that will bring Canada to the forefront of the ICT industry. In the meantime, we welcome all SMEs in network security and other project areas to submit a project on our website for consideration!
