TiECon Canada is the TiE’s (The Indus Entrepreneur) Canadian flagship conference for start-ups, entrepreneurs, SMEs, industry veterans, investors and other members of the Canadian business community. TiECon Canada is the largest event of its kind in the Ottawa region. It features daring entrepreneurs, top start-ups, technology leaders, investors and hottest technology sectors. TiECon Canada provides an opportunity to Canadian entrepreneurs to network, learn and advance in the entrepreneurial endeavors. TiECon Canada 2022 will be held on October 27 and October 28, 2022.

TiE Ottawa PitchFest 2022 – Opportunity for Startups to Win Up to $50K

TiE Ottawa will be holding its annual PitchFest on October 28th, 2022 at the TiECon Canada.

Think your company has what it takes?

Entrepreneurs, this is your opportunity to showcase your venture and gain access to angel investors (one-on-one meetings), mentorship, in-kind services and investment offers from the Friends of TiE fund. The winning start-ups will also have the opportunity (paid by TiE Ottawa) to attend the world’s largest entrepreneurship conference – TiECon Silicon Valley, and meet investors, potential partners, and mentors in Silicon Valley. TiE Ottawa will also cover the cost for a winning company to apply for TiE50, the most sought-after platform in Silicon Valley to pitch your venture to dozens of investors with a great past success rate.

PitchFest Application Deadline — September 30th at midnight!

PitchFest applicants must:

• Be based in Canada and in the start-up phase of development
• Have generated less than $5 million in revenue since inception
• Currently, or about to begin, fundraising and willing to accept an investment from investors as part of TiE and TiECon (upon successful due diligence and agreed terms)

Preference will be given to companies in revenue and ranked accordingly based on ARR or ARR Growth. Please be sure to reference these in your application.

There is no charge to apply for the PitchFest but all applicants must register for TiECon Canada at a super special rate of $99.

CANARIE is a non-profit corporation strengthens the security of Canada’s research and education sector through funding, implementing, and supporting cybersecurity initiatives. They help to connect Canadians to each other and the world through programs that equip Canadian researchers, students, and startups to excel on the global stage.

Every year, CANARIE hosts a summit to gather leaders in research and education organizations, the private sector, and the government to learn from experts, contribute to ongoing discussions, and engage with leading Canadian innovators and researchers.

ORION Think Conference 2022
