Smart Agriculture Living Lab Call for Proposals

Sponsored by the BC Ministry of Agriculture and Food and the Ontario Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Agribusiness, this Call for proposals addresses priority problem statements in the agri-food sector that can be addressed through smart agriculture solutions. This includes the following Industry Challenges:

  • Agricultural Robotics and Automation
  • Smart Irrigation Systems
  • AI for Precision Agriculture and Affordable Precision Agriculture for Smallholders
  • Sustainable Pest Management
  • AI-powered Farm Management Software (including for smallholder farms)

Smart Buildings Call for Proposals

Partnering with Morguard, this call for proposals seeks solutions to address smart building challenges across Morguard’s diverse North American real estate portfolio, including residential, retail, and office properties.

Applicants should develop project plans targeting one or more of six key areas:

  • Smart Energy Management
  • Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS)
  • Operational Safety and Security
  • Tenant Experience and Services
  • Power Management
  • Water Risk Management
