Each project is also supported by the CENGN ecosystem, including industry-leading information technology companies and operational technology experts at living lab facilities.

Project Areas

CENGN accepts projects in a wide range of technology areas. Our living labs target organizations that offer solutions in smart agriculture, smart mobility, smart buildings, robotics, and 5G-enabled solutions.

For other technology areas, CENGN offers its testbed and technical expertise for validating software-related solutions, as well as its AI-focused UI/UX design, modelling, and data preparation services.

Requirements

To qualify for consideration, your company must meet the following criteria:

• Your company is based in Canada
• Has fewer than 500 employees
• Receives less than $50M in revenue
• Technology level must be TRL 4 and above

Project proposals are submitted through the CENGN portal application and undergo a multi-phase evaluation process. This ensures that your project can be completed using CENGN’s Living Labs, Testbed, or other services.
