LoRa-Enabled Services

LoRaWAN™ (Long Range Wide Area Network) is optimized for the Internet of Things (IoT) and enables the promise of Smart City, Buildings, Campuses and Enterprise IoT applications. LoRaWAN supports the use of low cost battery powered sensors and addresses IoT applications where requirements include wireless connectivity, long life (greater than 10 years), no maintenance and a low total cost of ownership.

Delivered in partnership with eleven-x, CENGN supports projects with secure connectivity to eleven-x’s Canada-wide network. Small and medium enterprises (SMEs) carrying out a project on the CENGN Testbed receive access to LoRaWAN connectivity, as well as engineering expertise and support from eleven-x to ensure successful wireless connectivity between their sensors and the eleven-x network.

Our LoRaWAN validation services are offered to Canadian SMEs who are interested in developing, testing, validating or scaling their LoRa-based IoT products and services. An IoT project utilizing our LoRaWAN connectivity allows companies to validate their physical sensors with real or simulated traffic. Canadian SMEs can access our LoRaWAN-enabled services by applying to complete a project with us.
