Software-defined networking (SDN) and network functions virtualization (NFV) are complementary technologies that transform network infrastructures to be intelligently and centrally controlled. Data Centre and Cloud

Data centres are facilities that consist of physical and virtual network elements which can be leveraged to build and deploy cloud platforms. Some of these network elements include compute/controller nodes, storage nodes, routers, switches, firewalls, etc. Cloud platforms are virtualized network infrastructures that deliver resources such as virtual servers, databases, applications and other network services, to end users or tenants over the internet. This project area relates to products and solutions for building, operating and managing data centre and cloud infrastructures.
