Published: November 28th, 2016

On Tuesday, November 22, CANARIE hosted their National Summit in Montreal where Canada’s leaders in scientific research, the private industry and government explored how the torrent of data impacts policy, technology, infrastructure, and behavior.

The two-day event featured presentations from a variety of tech leaders who discussed topics like: The Open Source Outbreak, Dataversity, and The Role of the National Research and Education Networks as the Internet Evolves. Each topic was a great glimpse into recent scientific discoveries that will have large impact on our future.

CENGN’s CEO & President- Ritch Dusome, and VP of Marketing & Business Development- Richard Waterhouse, attended the Summit. While at the Summit, they observed many fascinating presentations from a wide array of perspectives.

In the end, it’s safe to say that the CANARIE National Summit was a great success with the help of the lineup of established keynotes speakers and Montreal venue. The Summit was a great opportunity  for CENGN to network with like-minded organizations and discuss the technology crucial for navigating our data-driven future!

CENGN will be holding a Summit of its own on December 7th at the Brookstreet Hotel!  Click below to learn more about CENGN’s inaugural Summit, and register today!
