Adlib Software, a global leader in file analytics and data enrichment solutions, is a Canadian software company headquartered in Burlington, Ontario. Adlib has been transforming the way global organizations overcome unstructured data challenges for 17 years. Adlib’s data enrichment solutions enable thousands of global customers and partners to discover, access and transform their unstructured data into high-quality, structured data that is primed for process automation, insight, systems, and other digital business initiatives. Adlib has a great track record and is ready to take the next step with one of their products through completing their first CENGN cloud project!
Sorting Through Unstructured Data to Accelerate the Global Marketplace
With the rapidly evolving tech world, it can be extremely difficult for companies to adapt to the digital demands of the global market. More than 80% of corporate data is locked in documents, and it has become critical for companies to be able to sort through these documents quickly to discover and make use of all their data resources. When companies have efficient access to all their data, they can use it to accelerate innovation, simplify compliance, improve operations, and better the consumer experience.
For these reasons, Adlib has introduced their premier software, Elevate. The platform is a disruptive AI technology that is designed to help businesses get better access to quality data in an efficient way and drive data transparency. Elevate enables businesses to leverage the power of unstructured data to fuel process automation, extract business intelligence, and accelerate digital transformation.
Elevate’s main features include its robust framework that targets and extracts data at scale, its ability to migrate legacy contents to new systems, enriching metadata that improves search and efficiency, and its scalability and load balancing potential for efficient use of system resources.
Due to the platform’s ability to sort through mass amounts of documents and data, Elevate’s main target markets includes Financial services, Life sciences, Insurance and Energy markets which tend to have an overload of unstructured data.
Utilizing CENGN’s Infrastructure to Move their Product to the Cloud
Adlib has begun stress, functionality, and feasibility testing on CENGN’s infrastructure. Elevate is currently delivered as an on-premise single tenant cloud solution. Adlib is working to extend the platform offering to include support for a multi-tenant cloud solution. This will improve Elevate’s flexibility and grow the product’s list of potential customers. In order to migrate their current customers to a cloud-based Elevate platform, Adlib is validating the platform’s performance as a cloud solution on a CENGN test environment, ensuring the platform can support existing users in a multi-tenant and multi-instance offering. Upon project completion, Adlib needs to be confident Elevate can support its current clients as a cloud-hosted solution before making the final switch and going to market with the multi-tenant offering.
To complete this testing, CENGN is offering cloud tenancy resources. The project will consist of 60 vCPU, 136GB RAM, and 1.3 TB Disk. Adlib will also be provided windows resources including a SQL DB VM, a Workflow Manager VM, a RabbitMQ VM, a Connector VM, a Webservices VM, and an Engines VM. In addition to CENGN’s infrastructure, Adlib is also gaining crucial technical expertise in cloud technology.
Having the opportunity to learn from CENGN’s experts and perform testing on this infrastructure provides Adlib knowledge they can carry forth in future operations. The combined efforts will ensure that the Elevate multi-tenant solution not only scales to meet customer’s needs, but also provides the performance to ensure Adlib’s customers enjoy the best UX experience possible.
With the introduction of this new offering, Adlib is looking forward to opening up entirely new markets while still offering the same level of service from Elevate past users have come to expect. The market growth possible is exponential and the CENGN team is excited to see Adlib continue to lead the global marketplace in file analytics and document process automation!
Adlib is a growing Canadian business that is using the services at CENGN through the Next Generation Network Program (NGNP). The NGNP is a Government of Ontario program offered through a partnership between CENGN and the Ontario Centres of Excellence (OCE) that is providing small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) across Ontario access to the CENGN Testbed. CENGN’s digital infrastructure is connecting SMEs like Adlib to state-of-the-art equipment and network services, which will allow these companies to test and validate their solutions.
