With another CENGN project in the books, we are proud to announce the successful validation of StreamScan’s Compromise Detection System (CDS)! StreamScan’s CDS is an innovative cybersecurity solution that uses AI and machine learning to block compromised data and sensitive information from exfiltration. By actively scanning a network, the CDS is able to identify unusual network traffic and cut connection between the infected device and the source of the malicious traffic.
StreamScan’s CDS was successfully integrated with pfSense’s firewall on our infrastructure, blocking traffic between two infected Windows user IPs and the source of the attack, a command and control (C&C) server. Thanks to StreamScan’s CDS and its ability to integrate with pfSense, all compromised data on the network was blocked from exfiltration, keeping sensitive and important information completely safe in the wake of a cyberattack.
In a world that is becoming increasingly digital, protection from malicious content and sensitive information defence continues to be a problem of growing importance, and StreamScan has the solution!
